Community Outreach

We work with volunteers, teachers, students, universities and a wide range of cultural heritage organisations to develop projects, create education and learning resources and deliver outstanding community archaeology for all.

Overview

Heneb: The Trust for Welsh Archaeology is an independent organisation dedicated to the conservation, investigation, recording and promotion of the historic environment of Wales and beyond. We are a charity with the objective of educating the public in archaeology. We do this through Welsh Government funding which allows us to host a wide range of events, activities and opportunities for engagement with the archaeology and cultural heritage of all of Wales.

We work with volunteers, teachers, students, universities and a wide range of cultural heritage organisations to develop projects, create education and learning resources and deliver outstanding community archaeology for all.

This work is carried out as part of the delivery of our outreach strategy and contributes to a community archaeology framework developed in partnership with Cadw.
