“A nation without a past is a lost nation, and a people without a past is a people without a soul.” Sir John Edward Lloyd (Welsh historian)

Heneb is the new Trust for Welsh Archaeology, having been formed on 1 April 2024 following the merger of the four Welsh Archaeological Trusts, which had been operating successfully in Wales since 1975.

In this session, leading archaeologists from the Trust will share fascinating updates from excavations and project work taking place in Wales during 2025 and beyond.

The event is by invitation only, but those who are keen to come along can certainly express their interest by emailing the organisers.

The event will include drinks and refreshments at the refined location of the Society of Antiquaries of London.
