Community Archaeology – Tal y Sarn

Heneb is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a community archaeology activity in Tal y Sarn during July.  

What will we be doing? 

The volunteers will be working with one of our archaeologists who specialises in photogrammetry and creating a 3D detailed model of the old barracks and farmhouse at Dorothea Quarry.  

We will be explaining how to do this before giving volunteers hands-on experience. Heneb will provide all cameras etc.  There will also be an opportunity for the volunteers to learn how we use specialist drones to help us create 3D models.   

There are only 5 spaces each day, so book quickly if you’re interested! 

N.B. due to the nature of the activity, you will only need to attend on one day.
