The Trust assists Cadw and Natural Resources Wales in the management of the historic environment within landscapes both where such landscapes are given some protection because of their historical or archaeological significance as is the case with those included on the Register of Historic Landscapes, Parks and Gardens and those protected for multiple reasons such as the Brecon Beacons National Park or the Gower, Wye Valley and Anglesey Areas of outstanding Natural Beauty.
