This project investigated the Roman forts at Trawscoed and Erglodd using specialist geophysical survey techniques. Carried out as part of a Wales-wide study funded by Cadw, the work set out to understand more about the landscapes around Roman forts and the routes that connected them. By applying proven survey methods, archaeologists were able to reveal new insights into the Roman presence in southwest Wales.
